I had a lot of problems with the carseat at first. It got stuck in the base and wouldn't come out. I finally resigned myself to not being able to use the carrier until today, when I finally got it fixed. In case you have the same problem I did, here's what you do: you have to pull VERY hard on the red release handle on the back of the carrier. It didn't work the first few times but I finally got it loose. When I took it all out of the car and got the manual out to examine why it was doing that, I noticed there are some hooks on the front of the base that are put in very loose. When you put the carrier in the base those hooks get knocked down into the base and become unusable. The front hooks are not anywhere in the diagram in the manual, and I'm thinking maybe they were a feature that wasn't supposed to be in the final distribution? Anyway, they're very easy to pull out and now the carseat works just like it's supposed to! I wouldn't not buy it again, I just wish I would have known about the extra hooks a lot sooner...SO, my advice is to check to see if they are there when you buy it and be careful about putting the carrier in for the first time. Make sure you latch and unlatch it BEFORE you put it in your car.
About the stroller: I like it. It is small and lightweight. However, if you are looking for a stroller where the backrest can lay flat this one is not for you. It has two positions; reclining and straight. Also, there is a basket on the bottom for a diaperbag, etc. but it is not easily accessible if the seat is in the reclining position.
My last review of this item was terrible because of the carrier issue, but since that problem has been solved I really can't complain. The whole system looks nice, the carrier is roomy (the inserts it comes with support my baby really well), and now I can say everything works.
