Whether or not you have a Cusinart grill or perhaps a different brand, don't bother buying another grill surface pan. This surface grilling pan has a removable wood plank and pizza stone to reveal a very nice, solidly made surface for delicate fish, veggies, etc. This is a bonus! If you are just browsing and not closely looking at the item you may not realize that this one comes apart and is not a solid unit.
You may be considering buying the Cuisinart Simply Grilling Nonstick Grilling Platter, I would say, don't. No offense Amazon or Cusinart. This one serves the same purpose plus it adds so many more options. Why would you buy the other and turn around and wind up buying both when you can have the best of both worlds in one unit?
Okay, it costs more initially, soooo.... the point is? Especially if you wind up buying both? That's not cost effective.
Great multi-surface pan with so many interchangeable parts, only your imagination will stop you.
(P.S. By the way, men are not King of the Grill! Men come to my house for my delicious grilling. So, don't be afraid women of the world! Ha ha).

I don't know how many times you are supposed to be able to use the cedar plank, the directions didn't say. We soaked it overnight and barbecued a salmon fillet on it. The salmon was delicious but the board was burnt beyond using it again. For some reason the burnt board did not affect the taste of the salmon, as in burnt. I guess you are supposed to replace the board every few times or less, obviously. The rest of the Omni Panel is great, asparagus grilled on the stainless steel panel came out delicious. Haven't used the stone yet, but I have one I use in my oven and love it, so am sure this one will be fine as well.
